Design and Implementation of the Component for Comunication with PCI Interface
Janoušek, Michal ; Kořenek, Jan (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
This masters thesis deals with design of the component facilitating communication between PCI bus and user component. Designed component is simplifying the communication protocol between designed and user components, while advanced functions of PCI bus are preserved. Target platform is COMBO6-PTM card containing FPGA with Spartan 3 technology. Communication with PCI bus is mediated by PLX component. Thesis also contains design of simplified communication protocol.
System of Internal Buses for Chips with FPGA Technology
Málek, Tomáš ; Kořenek, Jan (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of interconnection bus system for chips with FPGA technology. The system ensures both communication between internal components on a chip and their communication with other computer elements which are mapped to the host system memory. The buses are high-speed, full duplex and packet-oriented and their architecture is based on tree topology. The data width is configurable, individually for every bus part. Due to this feature, it is possible to build uniform hierarchical system of internal buses with different speed that interconnects differently fast components. Proposed interconnection system was implemented in VHDL language and it is utilized in the Liberouter project which is the part of CESNET research intention Programable Hardware.
Inflammatory Response after the Implantation of Bioresorbable Vascular Scaffolds vs. 2nd Generation Druh-eluting Stents
Novotný, Vojtěch ; Šťásek, Josef (advisor) ; Kala, Petr (referee) ; Kočka, Viktor (referee)
The concept of bioresorbable scaffolds (BVS) originated in the 90s of the 20th century, however, the first commercially available coronary BVS was Absorb BVS in 2011. The dissertation deals with aspects of working with this type of BVS and its use in real practice. We focused on examining the inflammatory response after implantation of Absorb BVS in comparison with the proven 2nd generation metallic drug eluting stent (DES). The introduction systematically discusses the topic of BVS from history, through the composition of BVS and implantation techniques to available literature data. The second topic discussed is the inflammatory response after coronary stent implantation, we provide an overview of available data from studies and the introduction of inflammatory markers, which were analyzed in the main study. The presented work includes three main studies. A Pilot study in which we evaluated the systemic inflammatory response to coronary artery trauma caused by percutaneous coronary intervention previously described in the literature. We verified that the selected laboratory-determined markers of systemic inflammation (hs-CRP, IL-6 and serum amyloid A) increase significantly 24/48 hours after PCI compared to basal. This pilot study was directly followed by the Randomized study, in which we randomly...
Analysis of the transformation of the Italian Communist Party considering its organization change
Mejstřík, Martin ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Kubát, Michal (referee)
The thesis Analysis of the transformation of the Italian Communist Party considering its organization change deals with the transformation of the Italian Communist Party (Partito Comunista Italiano, PCI) into the post-communist Democratic Party of the Left (Partito Democratico della Sinistra, PDS) with the emphasis on its organizational change. It will be also analysed the role which the intraparty opinion currents played in this process. It will be evaluated their influence on the very own process of the party organization change. To understand this process during the period of the party transformation will be necessary to focus on the role of Achille Occhetto's leadership and on the response of the membership base to the transformation process. Subject of this work is defined by the open outbreak of the intraparty crisis during the succession of Achille Occhetto to the post of the secretary general in 1988 and by the parliamentary elections in 1994 in which the party entered fully prepared after the complete conversion and nevertheless was unable to win them. Large space will be dedicated to the theories of party organization and their suitability to the analysis of the transformation of the PCI. Thus the main aim of this thesis is to analyze in detail one of these models (Panebianco's...
From the sickle with a hammer to the oak. The role of the ideological currents within the Italian Communist Party in the process of its transformation
Mejstřík, Martin ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Strmiska, Maxmilián (referee)
The thesis From the sickle and hammer to the oak. The role of the opinion currents in the Italian Communist Party during the transformation process deals with the transformation of the Italian Communist Party (Partito Comunista Italiano, PCI) into the post-communist Democratic Party of the Left (Partito Democratico della Sinistra, PDS) and with the role which the intraparty opinion currents played in this process. It will be evaluated their influence on the very own process of the party transformation and their key role in influencing the membership base. The thesis will also focus on analysing of political behavior of the actors on the middle level of decision-making in the party (secretaries of local sections, bosses of trade unions, local and regional politicians) in the light of precipitous events of the examined period. It will be also mentioned the external factors which influenced actions of single groups and how these groups responded to the new challenges in front of which were put almost ad hoc. Subject of this work is defined by the open outbreak of the intraparty crisis during the succession of Achille Occhetto to the post of the secretary general in 1988 and by the parliamentary elections in 1994 in which the party entered fully prepared after the complete conversion and nevertheless...
